More in Luv + Supports @ The Kazimier Stockroom - 10/04/22

10/04/22 - Liverpool

My second night in Liverpool and a slight shift in hotels for the night. Took me to Kazimier Stockroom for More in Luv's headline show. I have seen these guys a few times before since first seeing them back in August 2021 at Rivfest in Warrington. I have nothing but love for these lads they are some of the nicest lads I have ever had the pleasure in meeting.

The Venue

The Kazimier stockroom is located within the venue Kazimier Gardens. This place has 2 bars and the prettiest beer garden I have ever seen. Perfect for during the summer months and lighter and warmer evenings. The venue itself is inside and is a really small space fitting about 20-30 people at most, but really has that intimate feel. You can get super close to the stage without feeling too close. I really like this venue and I do recommend it!!! (oh and the bar prices are awesome too) 

Sterling Press

First up was the only support act of the evening, Sterling Press. Hailing from London, but now based in Liverpool. These guys were a treat. I am so glad to have discovered them. They are an amazing band who sounded brilliant. A perfect support slot choice. I really enjoyed their set despite not knowing any songs yet, but this will come in time. They have a really unique sound as well, haven't heard a band like this in a while and it felt great!
With an all original set, they drew a crowd and a fair few people came out to support these lads. They truly deserve it. It's always nice to see local people coming out and supporting their local talent. Me? I just trek everywhere 😝. Would I see Sterling Press again? It's highly likely that I would see them again, I will 100% check them out properly and get learning some songs so I can come back and see them play all over again. I never got to catch these lads at the end but they seem lovely. Will defo catch them at the next show. Fantastic set and a must see on my list!!!! Well done!!

More in Luv

Final band onstage as headliners, were the incredibly talented More in Luv. A bit of background about these lads. They are super sweet, humble, genuine. Ever since I first got to see them live in August of last year, I have been hooked. They have the most unique sound and the more times I get to see these guys, the better they get. Could hear them play all day every day.
Their set at the Kazimier Stockroom was fantastic. They actually opened with an unreleased song which sounds amazing. They even had a really cool intro which I haven't heard before. I liked it so much. They then went on to play all my favourite songs and I couldn't help but sing back. If you haven't listened to their songs, they can be found on major streaming platforms. I recommend that you go and have a listen, then catch a show. They have incredible talent!! I'm excited for new tracks, shows and even more content from these lads. I hope to stick by them for the long term, I simply cannot back out now. Personally I'm in too deep. I have adore More in Luv so much and it was nice to see people coming out and supporting them too. These lads truly deserve it and I can't wait to keep following them in their music journey. Don't ever stop!!
