25th February - Manchester
Before I begin writing this entry. I must stress that this gig wasn't a complete gig. I did a quick exit before the headliner came onstage. Simply because we have had friction in the past and I couldn't bear to bring all the trauma and stress back into my life after getting rid of it for so long. We avoided each other all night anyway. I am however going to write amazing things about the supports I watched before my speedy getaway. Sadly, not every artist likes me and vice versa and its not personal its just a few artists and bands in the past took me for a ride and didn't appreciate me like artists and bands do today. Luckily I have an amazing set of people to support now in 2022 and I couldn't be happier!!!!

His set was fantastic! too short but as a support you can only play for so long and he killed it!!! Made me so damn proud to be there despite the circumstances. Daye is a fantastic singer and I really hope he does more shows now corona is pretty much history. I'd love to see a few headline shows from him. I don't care if most of his original music are ballads. They are just perfect, perfect for when you need a little pick me up or a good cry.
Don't ever change Daye. It was a pleasure to see you again and chat to you after your set and grab a few photos. I hope it isn't 3 years until I see you again. Despite only having met twice you mean so much to me and I'm honoured to feature you finally in my blog posts. Here's to many more.

Isla Rico
Cal
Next up was a band called Isla Rico. Formally 4am then Offshore. A fantastic group of lads who I have known for a good 5 years now. Time flies. Their set blew me away!!! They haven't changed a bit. They still deliver and still are just as amazing as the first day I saw them. Again their set was far too short and I need to get myself down to a proper full on headline show and blog about that. Just being around Cal, Jasper and Harvey again was just so nice. Reminded me of the good old days, only better. These guys are doing amazingly well and are going to go far. I even went to this gig in my merch they sent out for me!! They have a whole new set of original songs mixed with covers and I honestly couldn't be happier. I have missed these guys and the last few years have been great but the next few years are going to be even better. I hope to see them soar and go really far. Just don't forget me, the little OG in the process!!! I wish the lads of Isla Rico all the best of luck and I can't wait for more shows, all over the UK!!!!!
