20/02/22 - Birmingham
Left London early Sunday morning and got a 2-hour train to Birmingham. Caught an Uber to the Castle and Falcon to see Bronnie and her wonderful support acts play. This gig was one of the best. Being back in Birmingham was awesome and I loved it so much. Can't wait to go back.
The Venue
The Castle and Falcon is a new venue for me, but it is one of the nicest venues I have been to in Birmingham. The venue is all one level with a small room upon entry which is a seated bar area. This venue is also quite big which I really wasn't expecting at all. It was nice to be here and I can't wait to be back. The only issue is its miles from the train station and the coach station. Luckily Uber is quick to book.
Alex Cottom
The first support on stage was Alex Cottom. Formally a member of The Verse. Now a solo artist and he is killing it!!! What a voice he has! hiding away all these years and finally coming out and showing his true talent. Alex did a fantastic acoustic set and it was nice to actually slow things down and hear an acoustic set. They are rare nowadays. This was my first time seeing Alex in 2 years and it was an absolute pleasure. We had a brilliant catch-up. Mad to think I've known this lad for 5 years. Way to go Alex!! I look forward to hearing what you have in the future. You are going to go far, pal.

Tristan Maxted
Next up was Tristan. Formally a member of The Shades. Again another artist I haven't seen in 2 years. It was really nice to see him again and to get the chance to say hey and have a lovely catch-up. His set was marvellous. Again performing an acoustic set which was amazing to hear from him. Tristan has plenty of talent and I really can't wait to see what he has in store for us next. I wish him all the best of luck and I can't wait to hear more music and get to more gigs to see you. Well done pal!!

Mason Levi
Next to take the stage was American teenage heartthrob Mason Levi. Who performed a very lively set. Seriously, this boy has springs for legs too. I got an amazing shot of him in mid-air!!! It was lovely to see Mason again and chat with him and have a catch-up in VIP. Mason also played bass as part of Bronnie's band and did a fantastic job at it. Back to Mason's set. He played a fab set full of original tracks and covers. He got people moving and everyone was singing back which was just the best thing to see and to also hear. Mason is a very talented lad with a huge following both in the states and here in the UK. I'm super excited to see him on the rest of the tour, which is visiting London, Manchester, and Glasgow next. Wishing Mason the best of luck with everything and see you very soon.

Bronnie
Last to take the stage was the headliner of the day, Bronnie. I have known Bronnie for around 4/5 years and she has brought a fantastic show every single time. I always enjoy coming to her shows. They are always lively and fun. I am also happy to say by the end of this tour I will have been around most of the country for Bronnie, including Wales. Her set on Sunday was amazing. She sang mostly original tracks and everyone was on their feet singing and dancing and even moshing!!! Her songs are just that good that everyone has an amazing time. Defo get to a Bronnie show if you can they're such a blast. Band members Pete, Chris, and Mason also played amazingly well and did a fantastic job on their part. It was lovely to speak to them all again after so long. I am really looking forward to the rest of the tour. It's going to go off!! Best of luck Bron. Proud of you always and bring on the next date, London.
