20/03/22 - Factory, Manchester
Sunday was an early start for me as I got the train into Manchester and to Factory where the most recent date of the Love letters and hate mail tour was being held.
The Venue
Factory is a venue that has been featured in my write ups so many times. So many gigs I attended have been held here and they've always been fantastic. This venue is step free, is all on one floor with a huge space just big enough for 100 or so people. There are 2 other levels but they are only open when Factory hosts club nights (Quid's in is the best) This venue is also very easy to find, being a 5 minute walk from Manchester Oxford Road station, and directly across from new music venue and bar YES.
Body Water
Body Water are made up of Eli on bass, and Cerys on lead vocals alongside 2 other lads that make up the backing band. These girls have got to be the nicest and most amazing group I've met in a long time. They played a wonderful set. I really like the sound they have, which is a soft rock kind of sound which is just amazing. They played mostly original songs including their newest single "Throw it all in the fire" which comes out on Wednesday 23rd March.** These girls also have a really unique sound and I just really enjoyed it and the rest of the crowd seemed to enjoy it as well.
I got the chance to meet Cerys and Eli in the VIP section of the show, and they have the most amazing personality. I got to introduce myself and have a quick chat with them before moving on to let other people through. I would love to see Body Water again at another show, and I would love to speak to them properly and really get to know these them properly. I really hope they play another local gig soon. I wish Body Water all the best for the future, and I hope to catch them again soon.

Mason Levi
Next to perform was Mason Levi. Mason is on the whole tour so has been written about a number of times now and I simply cannot fault any of his sets that he's done so far. Manchester crowd was really nice to him and a few people were heard chanting his name as he came onto the stage. Mason has a fantastic stage presence, this boy can move!! He was bouncing all over the stage with tracks and singles that are super upbeat, bouncy and just gets crowds going. He played fan favourites such as "Cabin fever" and "Kicking it", and did a cover of "About you now" formally sang by the Sugarbabes. Mason is also a huge hit with the girls. With his charm, good looks and accent. Girls went crazy for Mason in the crowd!!! I got to catch up with Mason in the VIP section of the gig before the show began and he's always just so sweet to chat to and just so wonderful to be around.
Mason is a credit to Bronnie, her team and simply has made this tour the best it can be. I can't wait to see Mason again in the future and I can't wait for what he has instore next.

Bronnie
Finally, Bronnie took to the stage alongside bandmates Peter Gebbie, Chris Mitchell and Mason on bass. Manchester was the biggest show yet on the tour and she really did the most amazing job. People went wild for Bronnie and she came on stage with bags of energy and put on the most amazing show on tour so far. She played a set full of original songs and fan favourites and performed a few covers to bump up the set and to get newcomers singing along too. Bronnie performed a cover of "I kissed a girl" By Katy Perry, and a fan threw a pride flag onstage, which Bronnie picked up and wore for the full song.
There were paper hearts being passed around the crowd and during the show, people began to hold these up. They read "Proud of you" These were made by @Imogen_banana and @itschazzi on Instagram. Fantastic work from them both and well thought out and planned. It made the show so much better. This gig was definitely one to remember and I can't wait for the final date of the tour which is being held at Audio in Glasgow this coming May!!!
Fantastic work from Bronnie, Chris, Pete, Mason, Mark, Jan and Spike and Janey from Alstar Music. Fantastic gig and I can't wait to be back.
