Friday night, I got the train into Manchester to a very hidden music venue on Deansgate. To see a few local and upcoming bands and of course I went for the band I knew as well. This gig was also hosted by the legendary Clint Boon.
The Venue
The Lion's Den is a small bar and live music venue on Deansgate. Right across from Whistle Punks axe throwing, which I went to before corona hit. This bar is way bigger than you can imagine, from the outside it's just a small bar. Inside there's 3 levels. Lower ground floor for the toilets, middle floor for a bar and drinking area, and finally the top floor is a huge space for live music. I really enjoyed myself in this venue minus the drink prices. No one should have to pay £5 for a pint ever, only in London. But apart from that it is super cosy and super nice.
Alex Medved
First artist to take to the stage was a lad called Alex Medved. Alex is a wonderful singer and I hope many readers take a liking to him too. Sadly not many people came down early for this show as they really missed out on a lot. Alex has a really strong voice but sadly technical issues let him down. His set was mostly originals which I love to see. He seems like a really nice guy who I would love to go and see again if he was to gig again in Manchester. I followed Alex on social media as I just know with a bit of work he will go far in the music scene. I really hope to hear about this lad again more in the future and of course hit up some more gigs so Alex can be featured here even more!!! I wish him all the best for the future and I will be checking more of his music out as I really enjoyed his set. Amazing work Alex!!!

Laura Farrow
Second artist I saw was Laura Farrow. Again another fantastic voice that so many people missed out on. Laura sang a mix of covers and original tracks during her acoustic set. She also had a drummer come up onstage to play a few songs with her as well. Her stage presence is fab!! I really hope I can see Laura again around Manchester and around the north. I also hope that anyone reading this goes and checks out her music because I certainly will be doing. Laura did however bring a small crowd and got that crowd nicely warmed up for the next few bands that were due to perform. I wish Laura all the best for the future and I hope to see her again at another gig soon so I can chat to her properly. Keep up the amazing work!!!!

More in Luv
Next up was a band called More in Luv. These guys were who I came for in the first place!! Without them I wouldn't have known about this wonderful show.
Their set, without sounding too biased here, was the best all night!!! They have been featured in my write ups before as I have been coming to see these guys since I was recommended them by another band back in August at a music festival. More in Luv play a fab set every single time!! They have 0 faults to me and always smash it no matter where they are or what they are playing. Their set was full of originals and I really let go on their set and went mad singing every single song and just enjoying myself so much. I am really excited to see them again next month at a headline show!!! And one day I will 100% be going past Liverpool and Manchester to see them. London? Glasgow? I'll be there!!! These lads are going places and I adore them with my entire heart and they are most certainly up there in my top 10!! I got to hang out with the guys before the show. They are always so humbled and I adore their company.

Casinos
The final band I got to see a small portion of before I had to make a quick exit for my train was a band called Casinos. They brought a small crowd of mainly family and friends but damn they are so good. So well built as a band too!! A few people started to film and take photos at this point too. They had a set with some original songs which I always enjoy because I can search streaming apps later for said tracks. These lads are going to go far and do really well in the future. I would love to come and see them again if they are in Manchester or just up north in general to really get a feel for their music and to also meet them to see what they are like in person.
I wish Casinos all the best in the future and hope to see them again soon!
