Another 6-hour coach ride back up to Liverpool saw me in the lovely town of Birkenhead, just over the river Mersey from mainland city Liverpool. To the CUTEST venue, I have ever seen. The Bloom building is a fantastic little space complete with a full stage setup and lighting. This was probably the most intimate show of the entire weekend, as some artists sadly pulled out due to other commitments and covid-19 (covid is seriously a pain but let's keep going). This gig consisted of Ellie Dibben, Westside Gravy, and again Josh Brennan. They all put on a fantastic show despite the complications.

Ellie did a fantastic job at presenting the show. She sang a little bit too and I think she did fantastically well despite a sore throat. I give all my due respect to Ellie. I've known her for a few years now and this show was the first time I got to see her in over 2 years because I haven't been able to get out and gig as much as id hoped for 2 years. She did a fab job at keeping the very small crowd going and keeping everyone's spirits high. She gets a full 10/10 from me just because she kept things going and performed amazingly well. She even has the most supportive best friend in the world so she also gets 10/10 for the best support in the room.

Next Josh took to the stage again. I have written a review of Josh in a previous blog post so I will try and keep this short and sweet and not repeat myself. But he did a fantastic job at this gig getting the crowd going and getting everyone up on their feet. I really enjoyed the fact I got a round 2 of Josh two days in a row!! I got to hear a few songs that weren't played in London the day before so I really got to enjoy the new stuff and have a good time!! but I adore all of Josh's originals and covers. He really brings it again and again and I can't wait for the next show and can't wait for all the new music he has to bring. Also, Josh is like a brother to me and he looks after me and is the best singer I could ask for. After a tricky few months coming back out and smashing a performance over and over again is amazing. Big love and mad respect to you pal.

Overall, despite the complications this gig had with singers pulling out and covid ruining stuff again Live in your City really put on a fantastic gig. It was lively and enjoyable and in a perfect little venue which was the nicest venue I have ever seen. I even got to say hi to the wonderful Urbanparcs whilst waiting for friends to go through their meet and greet. It was amazing to have them recognize me from Thursday's show. I give this gig a 9/10. They should've brought in Urbanparcs sooner (lol) I am excited for the next one.
