02/04/2022 - Chester
A fairly long distance trip over two trains, brought me into the lovely city of Chester to watch Hollows as they played a set in HMV's basement for their "Live and local event." Which is a fab event which showcases upcoming talent from the Cheshire area and surrounding areas such as North Wales and Manchester.
Hollows
Hollows were the only band to perform, they played a short 45 minute set in the basement area of HMV. Their set was incredible. I have only ever seen these lads once before but they just make me want to keep coming back for more. They are incredible!! We have gotten so close in just a month too. I got to meet them properly and speak to the lads before and after their set. They are genuine and really humble, which is the biggest factor that I look for when choosing bands to follow. I know I'll be sticking by them for a long time.
They played an all original set, which of course again I know all the words to most of their songs now after listening and streaming for the past month or so. Including their latest single "Enough - These Bones" which is an incredible track I enjoy listening to on my adventures. They have such a unique sound that is so different to other artists I go and see. Hollows also have other shows planned throughout the year, many of which I am planning to attend. They also have a tour coming up this July, this is a tour not to be missed. So make sure to buy some tickets and support these guys, they truly deserve it. I am planning a round trip of the UK for these guys, simply to just see them again and again. They're that good.
Big thanks to Hollows, and all the staff at HMV Chester for an amazing event. This store do many Live and Local events with many other talented bands. More information about these can be found instore or on their social media pages. I would love to haver a few readers go down and support the many talented individuals that get to play here. Support Local!!!!
